Benjamin Harrison (1726-1791) was a Virginia planter and revolutionary war statesman. He served in the Virginia House of Burgesses, 1749-74, Continental Congress, 1774-77, Virginia House of Delegates, 1777-81, as Governor of Virginia, 1781-84, and House of Delegates again until his death.
