Jensen, Martin, active 1920-1937

Hide Profile

Martin Jensen began working in the body department of Ford's River Rouge plant in December, 1934. At that time, he had thirteen years of experience in similar work in various other shops, including his own custom shop. When his hand became infected in 1937 he was moved to checking the assembly line. He was discharged for work and the National Labor Relations Board found that his discharge was made because of his activity on behalf of the United Auto Workers (UAW).
