Bassett, Deborah Dunn, 1745-1805

Deborah Dunn Bassett was a Quaker minister from Salem County, New Jersey. She was born the 6th of 4th month 1745, Old Style (15 June, New Style) to Zaccheus and Deborah Dunn. In 1765 she married Isaac Bassett, and the two had a daughter, also named Deborah. Bassett was a member of Salem Monthly Meeting and of Pilesgrove Monthly Meeting, after it was split off. She began to appear in the ministry sometime in the decade after her marriage. Bassett's health suffered in her old age, and she died on the 19th of December, 1805.
