DETAILS: Paul Alexander Martin, a Michigan journalist, was the son of Kansas Governor John A. Martin. In World War I he served with the American Expeditionary Forces in France. After the War, Paul served on the staffs of the Battle Creek enquirer and the Lansing state journal newspapers.
