Wait, Frona Eunice, 1859-1946
Variant namesJournalist. The first newspaper woman on the San Francisco Examiner. She also worked for the San Francisco Call and the Chronicle. She was an author, lecturer, and conducted a radio broadcast. She was the model for Jack London's heroine in his first novel, "A Daughter of the Snows." She established the San Francisco Book Fair.
