Phi Beta Kappa. Pennsylvania Xi Chapter (University of Pittsburgh)
The Xi Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Pittsburgh was formally established as a chapter of the national organization in 1953.
However, efforts to establish the chapter began in the early 1930s. The chapter has continued through the present, honoring academic scholarship and sponsoring scholarly activities.
