Broadside Television.
Broadside TV was started in 1972 by Ted Carpenter, with a 2 year grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission. Broadside filed for bankruptcy in 1978.
Through Broadside, members of communities utilized portapac and small video format technology to teach themselves about their own culture.
