Crystal Cathedral Ministries.
Hide Profile
Crystal Cathedral Ministries governs the activities of Garden Grove, California's Crystal Cathedral, a television program, "Hour of Power," which is taped in the Cathedral, and many other outreach programs. Crystal Cathedral Ministries was organized by Robert H. Schuller. Schuller, who moved to California in 1955 to start a new parish for the Reformed Church in America, began preaching from a drive-in theater concession stand that same year. His approach of preaching positive thoughts and "possibility thinking" immediately caught on with the local population; Schuller has been extremely successful ever since.
