New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. Culver Literary Society.
The Culver Literary Society at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts in Hanover, NH held its first meeting on December 12, 1871. The purpose of the Society was to improve the elocution, composition and debate skills of its members. The 430 volume library collected by the Society was donated to the College Library in 1894. The last meeting seems to have been in June of 1899.
