The Dudley Dewitt Carroll Memorial Committee was a special committee of the university's faculty appointed to draft a memorial resolution following the death of D. D. Carroll (1885-1971), professor of economics at the university from 1918 until 1956 and the leader in the establishment of its School of Commerce (later School of Business Administration). Carroll served both as chair of the Department of Economics and as dean of the School of Business Administration.
