Neal, William W.
Variant namesBorn in 1848, Neal is believed to be the son of an African-American man and Cherokee woman. He came to Arizona about 1878; he operated a Stage Line, and built the Mountain View Hotel in Oracle. His wife, Annie, was the daughter of Wiley and Hannah Box, Tucson pioneers.
