Allinson, Samuel, 1739?-1791

Samuel Allinson was a Quaker attorney and surveyor-general associated with Burlington and Haddonfield Monthly Meetings in N.J. born to Joseph and Elizabeth Allinson in 1739 (approximately). In 1764 he married Elizabeth Smith and the couple had 2 children together, named William and Mary. In 1773, he married Martha Cooper, daughter of David and Sibyl Cooper. The couple had seven children together named David, Elizabeth, James, Sibyl, Margaret, Samuel and John. In 1776, Allinson wrote the Acts of General Assembly of the Province of New Jersey. Allinson died in 1791 aged 52 years.
