Detective.

Lewis immigrated to the U.S. from Wales in 1856, worked for Pinkerton's Detective Agency, and was a Union spy during Civil War; he founded his own detective agency after the War and worked on murder case of A.T. Stewart. He married Maria Thwaites and had two children, Mary and Arthur.
