Treadwell, George A.
George A. Treadwell was a consulting engineer for mining companies, including the Vulture Mine in Wickenburg, Ariz., operated by the Central Arizona Mining Co. of New York. In the 1930s, the company became a subsidiary of the Phelps Dodge Corp., which donated some mineralogical material to the American Museum of Natural History.
