New Hampshire Peace Society.
Founded February 1, 1912 in Andover, the New Hampshire Peace Society was affiliated with the American Peace Society and the Woman's Peace Party. The Society's purpose was to encourage peaceful means against war, such as international arbitration and development of a league of nations. It sponsored a peace oration essay contest with $50 in gold awarded for the top three essays.
