Wade, Daisy Harris, 1931-
Variant namesMrs. Wade was born in 1931 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. During the 1960s and 1970s, She was active in many African American civil rights organizations, including the NAACP, CORE, COFO, and SNCC. Through this involvement she knew many of the local and regional leaders and participated in local demonstrations.
