Jesuit scholar, lecturer and missionary.

McNeal was born in 1874 and grew up in Indiana. He attended Georgetown and then entered the Maryland - New York Province of the Society of Jesus. McNeal volunteered for Sophia University in Japan, and raised funds in its behalf. He also taught in Manilla and New York before his death in 1934.
