Fetterman family.

The Fetterman family attained local prominence in the area of law. The family donated the land that became St. Pauls Cathedral after Washington Wilford Fetterman converted to Catholicism. The family had extensive land holdings in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Several members of the family were prominent lawyers. Charles Fetterman was president of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania from 1888-1892.
