Gentile, Modesta, d. 2008.
Modesta Alexandra Gentile was Dame Peggy van Praagh's secretary from September 1968 to December 1969. She maintained a friendship with Dame Peggy until the latter's death in 1990. She worked with the Sydney Film Festival from 1965 to 1977, and became a life member of that organisation. Gentile died in January 2008.
