McArthur, H. C. (Henry Clay), 1838-
Henry Clay McArthur of Keosauqua, Iowa mustered in October 1861 and mustered out in July 1865. He rose through the ranks from 1rst Sergeant, Company K, 15th Iowa Volunteer Infantry to Brevet Major and aide-de-camp to General William Worth Belknap, 17th U.S. Army Corps.
