He was principal of Moroni High School, 1923-1924, and served with his wife in Central States Mission, 1924-1925. Teacher at LDS seminary in Logan, 1936-1937 and 1941-1943; president of Texas Mission, 1937-1941; president of Logan (1943-1951) and Salt Lake (1953-1961) temples; Assistant to Council of the Twelve Apostles, 1951-1975; mission supervisor; and temple coordinator, 1961-1972.
