Forrester. Worked in South Africa (1906-1910) and Sierra Leone (1910-1915). In Australia, was W.A. Conservator of Forests (1917-1922), reported on forests in Papua New Guinea (1922-1925) and South Africa (1935), between 1926 and 1945 was Inspector-General of Forests, and in retirement worked as a consultant.
