Federated Music Clubs of Australia.
Formed in 1928 in Sydney, originally under the name 'Associated Music Clubs of Australia'. Its aims were to advance musical culture and education in Australia and to assist in the promotion of new music clubs. There were hopes that the organisation would extend its operations to other States but they have always been confined to New South Wales.
