Miller, Neville, 1894-1977
Variant namesNeville Miller (1894-1977) was the son of Shackelford Miller, Chief Justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and his wife Mary. He attended Louisville Male High School before he earned his bachelor's degree at Princeton in 1916 and his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1920. He became first dean of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1930. He was mayor of Louisville from 1933 to 1937. In 1945, Miller opened a private law practice in Washington, D.C.
