Hide Profile

An offshoot of the National Women's Political Caucus, the National Women's Education Fund was founded in 1972 as a non-partisan, national training and information service for women and public leadership. Its goals were to teach women to gain access to the public policy process, to achieve influence within that process, and to develop the skills necessary to lead effectively. It produced training programs and publications, and offered a resource and technical assistance service for officials in the public sector.
