Saah-Buckman, Michael Kwa,
Michael Kwa Saah-Buckman was pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, an African-American parish founded in 1918 in Baton Rouge, La. He was educated in Catholic schools and received his degree in philosophy and theology from St. Peter's Regional Seminary in Ghana. He was ordained in 1993 and assigned to St. Francis Xavier in 1996 as its first African pastor.
