Edwards, Mabel I., 1903-1998.
Mabel Edwards was co-founder of the University of Iowa Institute of Gerontology, which operated from 1953 until 1971. As a research associate at the Institute she collected a wide variety of materials related to the aged in Iowa. Edwards also served on the board of directors of the Oaknoll Retirement Residence (Iowa City) from 1964 to 1968.
