Nicewonger, Harriet.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Nicewonger of Berkeley, Calif. were John Muir enthusiasts and members of John Muir Memorial Association. Mr. Nicewonger's uncle, Edward Hughes, was a friend of John Muir. The Nicewongers were active in an attempt to have John Muir's home in Martinez, Calif. made a national historic site (1964).
