Allen, Samuel Earl
Variant namesSamuel E. Allen was the son of Samuel W. Allen, owner of one of the oldest and largest ranches in Southeast Texas. The Allen Ranch became the present-day commercial area of Houston, and the ranch house was moved to Galveston Bay where it became Camp Allen of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas
