Federal Writers' Project (N.M.)
The Federal Writers' Project was established in 1935 under Federal Project No. One of the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
Its primary objective was to create and provide jobs for the individuals, particularly those of the white collar field, who would have otherwise been left unemployed and destitute. Areas covered on FWP programs include cartography, history, art and a variety of other topics.
