Variant namesMissionary, marriage counselor; born in 1926 in what is now Tanzania; received B.A. from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL, (1947) and an M.A. from the Sorbonne, University of Paris (1951); worked as a single missionary in Cameroon for Sudan Mission; married Walter Trobisch (1952); served as missionary in Cameroon, first establishing a new work in Tchollire and then teaching at Cameroon Christian College in Libamba (1953- 1963); had five children on the mission field; conference speaker on marriage and the family abroad and in the U.S. (1963- ).
