Russell, Maud
Maud Muriel Russell (1893-1989) was a social worker with the YWCA in China from 1917 to 1943, and then executive director of the Committee for a Democratic Far Eastern Policy from 1946 to 1952. From 1953 to 1989 she lectured on contemporary China and edited the Far East Reporter, a newsletter on East Asian affairs.
