Mary C. Goodwillie was active in volunteer organizations in Baltimore, MD.

She was born in Cleveland in 1870, educated in Boston, and came to Baltimore with her family in 1898. She served in the Family Welfare Association, the Baltimore Social Service Exchange (president, 1924-1945), the Red Cross Home Service, the Junior League of Baltimore, and the Baltimore Poetry Society. She served for many years on the Board of the Women's Auxiliary of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and was awarded a honorary M.A. degree from The Johns Hopkins University in 1940. Miss Goodwillie died in Baltimore in 1949.
