Abraham, d. 1780.
Prominent Mohawk chief, gifted orator, and father of Indian superintendent Sir William Johnson's first Indian wife. Also known as Little Abraham.
During the Revolution, Abraham was initially disposed toward neutrality, but his close relationship with the Johnson family was one factor that led him to support the British cause.
