Angas, George Fife, 1789-1879
Variant namesAngas has been described as one of the founders of South Australia. He was one of the promoters of the South Australian Company; the forerunner of the S.A. Banking Co. He was also a member of the S.A. Legislative Council from the early 1850's until 1867.
