Peshine, John Henry Hobart, 1847-1920.
John Henry Hobart Peshine, American military officer and diplomat. From 1893 to 1897 he served as military attaché at the court of King Alfonso XIII as. Peshine then served in the Philippines during and after the war with Spain, retiring from active duty in 1903. He died at Santa Barbara, Calif., in 1928.
