Henry, William, Jr.
Born in Colrain, Mass., and moved to Bennington, Vt., with his family before 1770; like his father was owner of a general store. He apparently started the business with Solomon Henderson ca. 1791 but partnership was dissolved and Henry became sole owner in 1797; served as town representative from 1805-1811, justice of the peace, 1801-1840, and probate judge, 1821-1824.
