Reba Lou Keele was born in Emery, Utah on April 28, 1941. She received an Associate's degree from the College of Eastern Utah, B.A. and M.A. degrees from Brigham Young University, and a Ph. D. in Rhetoric and Public Address and Educational Psychology from Purdue University. She went on an LDS mission to France in 1965 and married T. Lee Burnham in 1968. In addition to becoming the Director for the Center for Women's Health at the Cottonwood Hospital Medical Center from 1984 to 1985, Mrs. Keele taught Organizational Behavior at BYU from 1978 to 1991 and became the Dean of Undergraduate Education at the University of Utah from 1991 to 1996, where she has also taught Management. She has published on topics regarding women, gender, and leadership.
