Marks, Harry J.
Educated at Harvard, with work at the Universitiies of Heidelberg and Berlin, Marks was hired as an instructor at the University of Connecticut in 1946. A scholar of 19th and 20th century European social and intellectual history, Marks worked his way up to full professor, retiring in 1978, but remaining active in the University until his death in 1988.
