Everett Lantz (b. 1912) received his Master's degree in school administration from the University of Wyoming in 1939 and his doctorate in the history and philosophy of education from UCLA in 1954. He was a faculty member in University of Wyoming College of Education for many years, serving as Chair of the Department of Educational Foundations, and was the 1969 recipient of the George Duke Humphrey Award for outstanding scholarly achievement by a University of Wyoming faculty member.
