Variant namesThe University of Wyoming College of Education was formed in September of 1914. The college originally was made up of two departments: the Department of Elementary Education and the Department of Secondary Education. The College of Education currently contains the divisions of Leadership and Human Development, Lifelong Learning and Instruction, Graduate Studies and Research, Teacher Education, and Undergraduate Studies, along with the University of Wyoming Lab School, which was transferred to the Albany County School District in 2000.
