Missionary, teacher; born Earl Austin Winsor in 1897; graduated from Wheaton College, 1920; taught history at Wheaton College, 1920-1925; received master's degree from University of Iowa, 1925; married Mary Park Winsor; worked in Belgian Congo with Africa Inland Mission, 1926-1939; taught math and physics at Wheaton, 1939-1949; wife died, 1947; returned to Congo, 1949; married Ada Rury, 1959; permanently evacuated from Zaire, 1964; taught in a girl's school in Kenya, 1964-1968; retired, 1968.
