Dr. Braun was born in Hungary. He attended New York public schools and the College of the City of N.Y., the College of P & S, Columbia University (class of 1902), and specialized in Otolaryngology. A gifted portrait painter, he was one of the founders and past officers of the NY Physicians Art Club. He authored: Sinus Thrombophlebitis (Hoeber, 1928) and Cerebellar Abscess (with Isidore Friesner) (1916); The Labyrinth (published by Redman).
