Leslie P. Greenhill arrived at Pennsylvania State College in November 1948 to work on an educational television research program; he retired in December 1976.

Leslie P. Greenhill was born September 20, 1914 in Melbourne, Australia and graduated in 1940 from the University of Melbourne. He served in the Australian Army (1941-1946) with the responsibility for the production of training materials. He received his post-graduate diploma in industrial psychology from the Australian Institute of Management (1945-1946). He was a pioneer in the field of education film and television and authored numerous reports and publications. Leslie P. Greenhill was appointed a research associate in Instructional Film Research at The Pennsylvania State University in 1948. From 1955 to 1958 he was associate director of the Instructional Research Program and in 1963 was chosen director of the Division of Instructional Services. He retired with the rank of professor emeritus of education and director emeritus of Instructional Services in 1977. Leslie Greenhill died on September 11, 1996.
