Henry Wellings, 1884-1971, was a shipping agent, accountant and photographer who lived in the Eden district all his life. He wrote many articles on the history of the region for the local newspaper, the article on the Imlay brothers for the "Australian dictionary of biography", pamphlets on Boyd, the Imlay brothers and the history of Eden. He also prepared a full-scale, unpublished biography of Ben Boyd.
