Boyd, Benjamin, 1796-1851
Arrived Port Jackson 1842, embarked on various enterprises including shipping, pastoral, whaling and a bank with Joseph Robinson as partner. All failed. He went to California and was lost, presumed killed by natives on Guadalcanal shortly after.
