Perez, Madeleine Bagwell

Perez was born in Greensboro, N.C., received a B.A. in library science from Our Lady of the Lake College (San Antonio, Tex.) in 1967. She worked for the San Antonio Public Library and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library at the Alamo. She began her graduate studies at Wake Forest University in 1973 and earned an M.A. in 1982. From 1976 until 1982, she worked as an archivist at the Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America, Radcliffe College, Cambridge, Mass.
