Bauskett, John, 1800-1867
Col. John Bauskett (1800-1867), was a native of Newberry, S.C., and a resident of Edgefield District, S.C., where he worked as a lawyer, planter, state legislator, and by 1838, the co-owner and manager of the Vaucluse textile mill in Edgefield's Horse Creek Valley.
