Lottie Borum Peak (1867-1957) attended Colorado State Teachers College and before teaching at the Denver Opportunity School, later the Emily Griffith Opportunity School. Her son Paul R. Peak (1894-1976) graduated from Manual Training School in 1912 and the University of Denver in 1920. He married Verl Nicol and they had a son Paul R. Peak, Jr. Paul R. Peak was a member of the Denver Police Auxiliary and the Highlanders. His wife, Verl (1894-1986) was active in many organizations including the American Legion Auxiliary, Denver Press Council, Washington Park Women's Club, and the Women's Club of Denver. Paul R. Peak, Jr. (b.1923) married Jane Wood and was a member of the Colorado Genealogical Society.
