Huggins, William, 1696-1761
Variant namesWilliam Huggins (1696-1761) of Headley Park in Hampshire, England was an early translator of Italian works into English. He published a translation of Lodovico Ariosto's Orlando Furioso in 1757, and attempted a translation of Dante.
